The Conscription topped out as a Semi-finalist, but it was so unexpected to make it that far. I got a lot of really helpful feedback that helped me turn this short screenplay into a full length feature.

Thank you Screencraft!

GORDON'S KNOT (UPDATED!)

What if you could go back in time and fix one regret?

When fourteen-year-old Mary Gordon is given a supposed magical relic that can do just that, Mary writes it off as another tall tale from her grandmotherly neighbor with a penchant for storytelling,

Until she discovers that it’s not a tall tale at all, just in time to undo an unbearable humiliation at the hands of a school bully.

But what she thinks is an easily solved problem turns out to be anything but, as she discovers not everyone is what they appear to be and that not every hard problem needs a complicated solution.

KITTY DOOLITTLE: STAY AT HOME PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR (UPDATED!)

Kitty Doolittle is a stay-at-home mom by day and a private investigator by night.

When she takes on a case investigating a sweet little old craft lady, she expects to find mostly Bunco and knitting, but instead finds herself smack dab in the middle of a major crime ring.

Using cleverness, humor and her 'mom-voice', Kitty Doolittle solves the case in time to get home to help the kids with their homework.

NOW AVAILABLE!

Blue Room Books Southern Crime Anthology is now available! My story KITTY DOOLITTLE: STAY AT HOME PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR was selected to be a part of this fun collection.
Available wherever books are sold.

UNJUSTICE

the more ought law to weed it out."

Sir Francis Bacon

APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE

"I'm sorry, but it would appear that you are dead."

When the government mistakenly declares a woman deceased, she must jump through bureaucratic hoops to attempt to prove the obvious fact that she is alive.

But what happens when a government that cannot be wrong, makes a mistake?
